The Semi-Finals match of the Men’s Singles at the Commonwealth Games between the Legend Lee Chong Wei and World No. 11 HS Prannoy, will be a mettlesome event to witness, as this will be another great third clash between the duo.
Prannoy created the great upset after defeating Lee at the Denmark Open Super Series and the Indonesia Open Super Series last year.
At Denmark Open badminton tournament, Prannoy survived the scare outplaying Lee in 64-minute hard battled Pre-Quarters match.

At the Indonesia Open, Prannoy created another biggest upset, when he defeated Lee, and became the first Indian to beat the badminton big Malaysian.
At the ongoing Commonwealth Games, Lee is desperate to win gold as this is his last Games of his career.
In the quarter-finals match, Lee defeated Kean Yew Loh of Singapore with 21-13, 21-16 in the 41-minute contest. Meanwhile, Prannoy outplayed Dinuka Karunaratna of Sri Lanka with 21-13, 21-6 in the quarter-finals rubber to set up another clash with his decade older nemesis, Lee.
