Lee denies featuring in a sex video, describes as ‘malicious’ allegation

World no. 2 Malaysian Lee Chong Wei has denied featuring in a sex video that has gone viral and has lodged a police report on this regard and has delineated as ‘malicious’ allegations.


Speculation ran rife that Lee Chong featured in the video, which showed a naked man and woman together.


Lee slammed the video saying ‘slander, malign and defame my good name and character’.


Lee took his Facebook on Tuesday and said in a statement, “I categorically deny these malicious allegations and I state that I am not involved in any manner whatsoever with the said video.”


“I have lodged a police report and the matter is being investigated,” he added.



The velitation came into the news ahead of the premiere of his biopic ‘Lee Chong Wei: Rise of the Legend’, which will hit theatres next month.


The 35-year-old is married to Wong Mew Choo, a Malaysian former badminton player.


Lee is gearing for his All England in March.
