B. Sai Praneeth is all set to defend his Men’s Singles Title at the Singapore Open

The 25-year-old passionate player B.Sai Praneeth is all set to defend the Men’s singles title at the forthcoming Singapore Open organized by the Singapore Badminton Open from July 17-22’18. The cut-throat match will be held at the Indoor stadium in Singapore.


“2017 was a wonderful year for me, capping it off with a gold at the Singapore Badminton Open was a great reward for my hard work.”


Says the proud Praneeth after winning the title against team-mate Srikanth Kidambi and creating the badminton history with an enthralling score of 17-21, 21-17, 21-12.


Praneeth will be accompanied by his strong counterparts including the likes of men's singles world No. 40 Parupalli Kashyap, women's world No. 91 Mugdha Agrey and world No. 28 women's doubles pair of Ashwini Ponappa and N. Sikki Reddy.


Praneeth will be participating in the Singapore Open for the third time in row and post this tournament, he will be flying to China for World Championships starting from July 20-Aug 5’18. Up next, Indonesia’s Asian Badminton Championship shall await the World No. 18 which will be resumed from Aug 19-28’18.
