BWF Hyderabad Open 2018 LIVE: Ga Eun Kim wins gallant title

In the battle of 52 minutes, unseed Ga Eun Kim of Korea lifted the BWF Super 100 Hyderabad Open 2018 title after defeating the fourth seed Deng Joy Xuan of Hong Kong with 21-9, 21-18, 17-21 on Sunday at the G.M.C Balayogi SATS Indoor Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

In the opener, the Korean player Eun grabbed an early lead with 2-0, before the scoreboard read 5-5. From the slender lead of 10-9, the Korean burst towards the game with 11 points straight.

In the weary second game, Eun continued her command moving on to a 11-6 lead by the mid game. Later post break, Deng won two straight points and erased the deficit with 13-12 before nailing it with a smash by 18-18.

In the third game, unwavered by the Korea's command, the fourth seeded Deng managed to catch her opponent by 8-9 with deception shots covering the court.

It was difficult to decide between the players by 16-16, before Korean rallied towards the match point.
