Hyderabad Masters Badminton League to embark on 21st Sept'18

The Hyderabad Masters Badminton League 2018 recent updates are here. The entire tournament, that will take place in Hyderabad will be extremely exciting for the players, and it will provide a good opportunity to the unrecognized talents.

 

According to the Hyderabad Masters Badminton League 2018 recent updates, it is a special badminton ally for the shuttlers who are above the age of 35-years-old. The league set in motion with the auction of player, held at the Country Club, Hyderabad. In the league, 8 team holders are involved in the hustle to opt for the best shuttlers across the nation.

 

In the three-day competition, there will be a blend of the competition stages along with the knockout stages. This stage will be played by the Doubles shuttlers.

 

So what is it actually?

 

The Hyderabad Masters Badminton League (HMBL) 2018 starts from September 21st to 23rd. The tourney that will be held at the Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Indoor Stadium.  from 21st to 23rd Sept 2018. This league is meant to render a superb podium and opportunity to the star badminton players of the country, to get involved in the league.

 

Along with the recognized players, the league will also be joined by the best club-level players, hailing from different states of the country. This will help in energizing the competition.

 

 

The crux of the occasion


The entire auction of the players was conducted by Nirmal Kotnis, the former international player. He is currently the treasurer of the HMBL. Nearly 230 male along with 80 female shuttlers are delighted to become a part of the League and go under the hammer.


Usually, a regular auction does not have a fixed pay cap, however, this auction had around 100,000 points on every player. This height is conquered by eight players, who were an auction for a huge amount.


There are two groups in the League, drawn by Shri Ganguly Prasad, an awardee of the Dronacharya award are:


Group A - BBA Titans, Hyderabad Nawabs, Mumbai Masters, Himalayan Rangers.


Group B - Flying Gravity, Smash Squad, Hyderabad Smashers, Enthu Shuttlers


In the symposium stages, eight teams will bite the bullet, and the top two teams will get into the finals, after conquering the semifinals. The team that will win, will get the price of ₹6 lakh, ₹3 lakh for the runners-up. On the other hand, ₹1 lakh each will go to those, who will reach the semifinals.


The Masters League will be exciting and thrilling, with a unique blend of the national level and club-level players. This will make the hustle more interesting. The club-level players will get a new podium to showcase their hidden talent.
