Jwala's Birthday Resolution Stands Strong with “I Shape My World”

The former southpaw badminton ace player Jwala Gutta celebrated her 35th birthday on  7th Sept. On her birthday, she shared a few words of wisdom and knowledge. She conveyed to her haters that she does not care what they think of her, she is busy living her own life. On numerous occasions, people never stopped showering her with their cruel and mean comments too.

Gutta was born in the Wardha district of Maharashtra to Kranti Gutta and Yelan Gutta. Her mother is Chinese and she is often labelled as an Anti National or sometimes even as worse as “Chinese Product”. This is totally unacceptable and harsh. She is often targeted for her choice of clothes too however, the star shuttler never backs down.

According to the latest news on the Indian Badminton star Jwala Gutta, the shuttler posted a picture on Instagram on her birthday, with the caption: "I've faced a lot of criticism during my career and I never let it stop me. I've proven all my critics wrong. #IShapeMyWorld."

Achievements and Awards

The list of the milestones, she has set is amazing. Here are some of the achievements of the ace shuttler Jwala Gutta.

·      AT the BWF World Championships, held in England in the year 2011, She bagged a bronze medal

·      In the Commonwealth Games 2010 and 2014, held in India and Scotland, the shuttler won a gold and a silver medal respectively

·      In 2014 Asia Championships, Jwala conquered a bronze laurel

·      In the South Asian Games 2006 held in Srilanka, she won double titles in the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles category. At the 2016 South Asian Games, that took place in India, she won gold in the women’s Doubles category

·      At the 2008 BWF Grand Prix Bulgarian Open, she won two titles in the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles category. In the same year and same event, she also won the Bitburger Open Mixed Doubles title. In 2009, she won silver in the Mixed Doubles category but won gold at the Chinese Taipei Open. At the 2010 Indian Open, Gutta bagged two titles in the Doubles category again. Later in 2015, she won gold in the Women’s Doubles category again

·      AT the BWF International challenge, Series and Satellite tournaments, that took place between 2001 to 2008, she contested in 8 events where she bagged a total of 6 gold medals and 2 silvers in the Women’s Doubles category. She was involved in 7 matches for the Mixed Doubles category and conquered gold in all of them

·      In the year 2011, the ace shuttler received the Arjuna Award by the Indian Government for her excellence and potential in the sport of badminton
