Guru Sai Dutt cruised into next rounds at Bulgarian International

Juggernaut Guru Sai Dutt, who missed in an action for over a year has cruised into next rounds.

 

At the on-going Bulgarian International badminton tournament, the Indian thrashed Leonid Stojanov of Macedonia; giving the least chance to his opponent to win maximum of three points in the first game and eight points in the second game and took the game with 21-3, 21-8 in just 15 minutes.

 

And, in another match with Jonas Schwarz of Switzerland, Guru just was unstoppable sweeping off the opponent easily with 21-8, 21-16 in 25 minutes, followed by another win against Marton Szerecz of Hungary with 21-8, 21-5 in 21 minutes. In his further rounds, Guru will face Douglas Lidman of Sweden and Joel Douse of England.

 

Guru is the only player at the tournament to represent India from men’s singles category and has stolen the limelight with his smooth thrashes. Hoping the same with the players in doubles; Ahillya Harjani and Sanyam Shukla in mixed and Arun George and Sanyam Shukla in men’s, who will face Jack Macgregor of England and Toni Woods of Scotland, and Borko Petrovic and Dragoslav Petrovic of Serbia respectively today.
