BWF World Championships'18 LIVE: Sindhu, Saina and Praneeth Sail Through

 World no. 3 PV Sindhu beats Sung Ji Hyun of Korea with 21-10, 21-18 to enter Quarter-Finals at the BWF World Championships 2018.

 

Sindhu could easily seal the opening game with the lead of 11-4 by the break, before sweating hard in the second game.

 

The lanky Indian picked up very well from the trail of 10-3 to 11-8. Later post breather, the game was very intense in the favour of the Indian, yet, where she could pull off straight 5 points to lead with 16-13 and grab the match to her kitty.

 



India’s Sai Praneeth beat Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus of Denmark with an easy 21-13, 21-11 win to enter Quarter-Finals, while Kidambi Srikanth falters to the Malaysian Daren Liew with 18-21, 18-21 in 41-minute match.

 

Praneeth remains sole survivor from India’s Men’s Singles team at the BWF World Championships 2018.
