After delivering fantastic performances at the Asiad 2018, the star shuttlers of India, PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal have a brand new maneuvering to clinch the golden laurel at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. They have set their mind to glorify the Indian badminton in the upcoming Olympics. Sindhu acknowledged that the Asian Games competition was arduous and it wasn’t a turkey shoot.

As quoted in Sports NDTV, she said, "A happy moment about it. A proud moment for me and the country. Not easy to secure a medal at the Asiad. Pressure is always there. Very important to give your best".

Meanwhile, for the bronze medal winner, Saina Nehwal has had a splendid year so far. "Been a great year overall. This year has been fantastic for me. Now I need to better my results", she said.

The Olympic Queen Sindhu is all stressed out as the athletes are required to select the jousts. "We need to pick and choose tournaments. Don't have enough time", she added.

Recently, both the top shuttlers registered a historic triumph at the Asian Games 2018, where Sindhu won a silver medal and Saina added a bronze to her collection. Sindhu was unsuccessful in defeating the World No 1 shuttler Tai Tzu Ying, at the grand event of badminton and settled for a silver. Even after losing the finals, the determination and potential of Sindhu are not faded. She swore to make a mightier return in the forthcoming tournaments.

Sindhu stated that she had learned from each mistake, and every defeat has taught her a precious lesson. She is confident that her previous experiences will help her in conquering the gold. Sindhu played extremely well in her previous tournaments, but failed to win the title at the supreme events. She lost the final match at the Rio Olympics, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games, after losing two World Championships to the top-seeded players. A total of five other finals was also played by Sindhu where she lost.

We wish the girls all the very best!
