Top seeded Vaishnavi Reddy Jakka clinched Spanish Junior 2018 title thrashing Marion Le Turdu of France in the finals with 21-9, 21-10 in just 19 minutes. The three day long event ended on 18 February.
Vaishnavi, who reached to the career high of world no. 72 recently, ended up as the runner up against Saili Rane at the Iceland International earlier this month, followed by winning bronze at the 27th Iran Fajr International Challenge defeating Beiwen Zhang.
In the semi-final round at the tournament, Vaishnavi defeated another Indian Ruhi Raju, who represents USA, with 21-19, 21-5. While, the third seeded Eshita Raju lost to Marion with 21-19, 21-19 in 45 minutes.
