Asia Junior Championships 2018 Day 1: India Fared Well

The Asia Junior Championships commenced on Wednesday at Jakarta. The inaugural round for the Indian shuttler was assorted in the singles events of the tournament. Meanwhile, Aman Sanjay Farogh surrendered in the first round to his 10th seeded Indonesian opponent, Karono Karono 16-21,21-16,17-21. The battle was intense and back-breaking, after which Aman lost the ultimate game of the match.

However, the pair of Srikrishna Sai and Srishti Jupudi along with their compatriot pair of Orijit Chaliha and Preethi in the mixed doubles could not make it and lost in the first round.
