The Yonex-Sunrise All India Sub-Junior Ranking Badminton Tournaments 2018 updates are here. One of the most awaited badminton championships are taking place at Nagpur in July and will be held at Hyderabad, starting from 31st July to 6th August. The Under-15 and Under-17 category players will play in the tournament. This tournament will be the base for the selection of players who will join the Team India for the upcoming Asian Junior Championships (U-15 and U-17). The championship will be held at Myanmar in October this year.

In the previous year, the event was held at Yangoon, in which the Indian shuttler, Samiya Imad Farooqui conquered the gold in the Under-15 category. Six years back, PV Sindhu clinched the title in the tournament held at South Korea in the Under-19 category.

Clearly, there are a lot of expectations from the Indian team of the Under-15 and Under-17 category. According to the latest updates on the Asian Junior Championships 2018, all the participants must perform incredibly in order to qualify for the Asian Junior Championships.

The qualification round is the only chance they will get to prove themselves and get the nod from the entire committee, which will be present in the tournaments for the selection of the players. The selection procedure will take place post-August 6th after the leg at Hyderabad will conclude.
