India clinched 10 medals at the Para-badminton World Championship; includes two golds

Indian contingent heaved 10 medals at the recently-concluded BWF Para-badminton World Championship 2017 in Ulsan, Korea that includes two gold, two silver, and six bronze medals.


World no.1 Parmar, who is also the top seeded at the tournament did justice to her rank. She outplayed in the finals against the second seeded Wannaphatdee Kamtam of Thailand with 21-8, 21-17 win in just 23 minutes and got better of her compatriot, Manasi Joshi, with 21-12, 21-7 in the semifinals.


In 2014, Parmar bagged gold at the Para Asian Games and aiming for next gold  at the 2020 Paralympics Games.
