It’s double delight for the Indian badminton as Manasi Joshi and Sukant Kadam won gold in their respective categories in the finals of the VII Spanish Para-Badminton International 2018 held in Alcudia, Spain on Sunday.
Sukant, who too is ranked fifth in MS SL4, was very much dominating since the knock-out stage, winning all his matches in straight games. He beat Tim Haller in the quarter-finals, Rickard Nilsson in the semi-finals.
The next biggest para-badminton tournament is the Dubai Para Badminton International to be held from April 10 to 15.
