Badminton Association of India cleared the air about the uncertainty of the PBL season three that is going take the grand start from December 23.

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the BAI president, clarified in a letter to all the franchise owners there is no fickleness regarding PBL.

"I would like to share with you that I have personally written to all the stakeholders in the PBL, including the team owners, PBL's official license holders SportzLive, official broadcasters Star Sports and all the sponsors. They are fully behind BAI and we are all moving smoothly towards the world's richest badminton league. I must stress PBL is going to be held as per the announced and scheduled date," Sarma said.

Managing director of Sportzlive, Atul Pande, said, “The PBL will not be affected by any dispute that may arise between BAI and any other party. We can assure that the third edition will go on as scheduled with all eight teams and players eagerly waiting for its start on December 23. We would like to point out that Sportzlive has the rights for not only all the domestic badminton leagues but also for any other Asian league. But we are willing to go out of our way to help BAI resolve any outstanding issues.”
