The fourth seeded Kona Tarun and Saurabh Sharma defeated the local duo Gareth Henry and Samuel O’Brien Ricketts with 21-17, 21-17 in the 33-minute encounter in the finals on Sunday.
While in the semi-finals, the men’s doubles Indian pair thrashed the top seeded Jose Guevara and Daniel La Torre Regal of Peru with 21-5, 21-8 in just 23 minutes.
In the men’s singles, Harshit Aggarwal lost the challenge against Xiaodong Sheng of Canada in the longest 65-minute semi-finals event with 26-24, 19-21, 21-9 and settled with the bronze.
The eighth seeded Sahil Sipani of Men’s singles and Anoushka Parikh with Sanjana Santosh of women’s doubles lost in the earlier rounds at the six-day long tournament.
