Catch The Young Badminton Camp For Kids Launched in Itanagar

A tiding of joy has arrived for the badminton lovers in Bomdila, Arunachal Pradesh. ‘Catch them young’, themed summer badminton coaching camp was launched lately at the indoor sports club of the town. According to the news, it is a freebie camp, aimed for children in the age group ranging from 6 to 15 years.

With the subordinate scrutiny of the Arunachal State Badminton Association (ASBA), the West Kameng District Badminton Association has organized the two-month long camp.

The key objective behind the camp is to bring awareness and boost indoor games in the state, especially badminton, said Aju Khonjuju, the ASBA executive member.

Khonjuju said the coaching curriculum have been contrived uniformly with the standards of Badminton World Federation and Badminton Association of India, suiting the young kids.

The entire camp will be in the expert supervision of the professional badminton coach KB Gurung, where at least 40 girls and boys will partake.
