In the opening match of the Indonesian Open 2018, Srikanth Kidambi will play head to head with the Japanese shuttler Kento Momota, to join the hustle of the US$1,250,000 Indonesia Open World Tour Super 1000 badminton tournament.

Momota is back to the court after a one-year ban, as he was charged for his involvement in the illegal gambling. Ever since he is back, he is in terrific form and is giving astounding performances. Momota has been winning constantly, However, his 21 progressive victories hindered after losing the finals by the Malaysian shuttler Lee Chong Wei.

Out of nine matches, Momota has whipped out Kidambi 6 times and the Indian shuttler is keen to change these outcomes. Recently, the defending champion of Indian must struggle hard as a few days back, Momota foiled Kidambi in the semi-finals at the Malaysian Open.

However, the chiselled shuttler with a never-say-never attitude, Kidambi has an eye to details and reading the opponent’s strategy. The major losses faced against his arch rival might work in favour for the former who would most likely net his way to success.

What do you think? Who will win today’s neck-to-neck match at the Indonesia Open’18?
