World No. 8 Sukant Kadam progressed into quarter finals at the Uganda Para-Badminton International 2018 in singles and doubles category in Uganda.
The top seeded Indian thrashed the local player Hassan Kamoga with 21-2, 21-7 in the pre-quarters match of the MS SL4 category and secured teh berth in the Quarter Finals match.
While in the Mixed Doubles category, Sukanth pairing with Khadija Khamuka of Uganda will face Isidore Kamgue-Cristance Moffouo of Ghana and the Kenya pair Edwin Mwangi Muruah-Asha Kipwene Munene in the quarter finals on Friday.
In the Men’s Doubles event of SL3-SL4 category, Sukant Kadam and his compatriot Umesh Vikram Kumar will face Edward Kizza Kabonge and James Ongaria of Uganda later today.
