Young shuttler, Rahul Bharadwaj from Pune, lost straight games to top seed Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Thailand in men’s singles final. Young lad stood as runner-up at the podium at the India Junior International Grand Prix by 16-21, 11-21 in 33-minute contest. The tournament took place at P. E. Society’s Modern PDMBA Sports Complex, Pune.
Bharadwaj grabbed the early lead in the first game. From nowhere, Kunlavut levelled the Indian at 7-7 and dragged his lead makin Bharadwaj to stifle around the court till 16-18.
In the second game, Kunlavut having not given any chance to Bharadwaj, saved 6 points straight, to make 6-0. He continued his smashes with the flow and ended the match with an ease at 11-21.
